My journey into DJ’ing started when I was just 15 years old. My best friend Gareth and I began entertaining friends and family at house parties and local events — Gareth supplied the equipment, and I supplied the music! With a basic hi-fi system and a pair of “big speakers”, I quickly realised that DJ’ing was something I truly loved.

At 17, my Dad and I moved to Devon, where we started our own mobile disco business together. Growing up, my Dad introduced me to the incredible music of the 70s, 80s and 90s, and I soon developed a huge passion for those decades. Artists like Spandau Ballet, The Prodigy and Tina Turner became major inspirations in shaping my love for music and entertaining.

In 2021, I met my now wife Maria, who soon convinced me to move to Poole and encouraged me to start my own DJ business there. That’s when Fancy Dazzlers was born! Maria played a huge role in helping the business grow, managing the admin and social media while also working alongside me at children’s parties.

As the business developed and Maria progressed in her own career, I decided to refocus purely on weddings and parties. Since then, I’ve been lucky enough to be part of hundreds of unforgettable celebrations, and I’m proud to say I’ve never received anything less than a 5-star review.

In 2025, I decided to rebrand the business to make it feel more personal and authentic — bringing things full circle back to where it all began. That’s how DJ Craigy B was born.

Today, I pride myself on being genuine, reliable, professional, and down-to-earth. I genuinely care about every event I’m part of and always strive to make your celebration the best it can possibly be. There’s nothing better than seeing people enjoying themselves, making memories, and celebrating together.

When I’m not behind the decks, you’ll usually find me at home in Poole or out enjoying life with Maria, my golden retriever Dolly, and my step-daughter Alice.
